Just finished day 2 of my big kid job. So far so good. Investing in a watch definitely helped me get into character. It feels good to be learning again and stimulating that good ol’ brain of mine. Learning the names of 100 people is proving to be very difficult, but I am trying.

Just got back from an amazing vacation! I, my friends, went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios!!! I couldn’t believe the attention to detail in the parks decoration. We got to shop in Hogsmeade, explore Hogwarts, fly a dragon, and train a Hippogriff. I seriously felt weak in the knees at some parts during the day (possibly due to the heat). The Harry Potter and the Forbidden Adventure Ride lets you explore the castle and engage in an amazing ride!
Now onto my rant. For Dragon Challenge, a dueling coaster themed around the Triwizard Tournament, it seemed that Universal was trying to rewrite history! (well…wizarding history anyways) Leading up to the ride are banners supporting three out of the four Triwizard Champions. WHERE ARE THE CEDRIC DIGGORY SIGNS!?!? Check out this link for a walkthrough <http://buzzmytime.com/dragon-challenge-roller-coaster-queue-at-the-wizarding-world-of-harry-potter>. Maybe I am biased because of my love for Cedric, but I say shame on you Universal Studios.
Besides that the park was great! The rest of our trip consisted of being beach bums, hanging out in Key West, and having an amazing Fourth of July on a sandbar. Met some great folks, drank some good beer, and soaked up some delicious sunshine!

I kinda forget about Tumblr from time to time. I am going to try to make an effort to write about and share my experiences in different places. I love to travel, and I don’t care that it sounds cliche. My sister and I are planning a roadtrip for next summer, so watch out America! If there are any companies willing to sponsor us, we will gladly name drop and use product placement in the videos and blogs we post! :)
Recap: St. Louis
I went to this lovely city to attend an AAF Student Conference and had a blast. I think this city makes a great weekend trip because there is so much to do and so much to see! We rocked out at an 80’s dance party, saw the arch, went shopping, ate at lovely restaruants, and stayed in an amazing hotel!
Current Status: Florida Keys
Staying down here with the father is always a treat. The locals are something else for sure. I think my Melatonin is kicking in because I just got insanely tired. Will post pictures soon!

Well I am home now. Welcome back to reality and responsibility. I am glad and excited to see people and distribute a mass amount of hugs. I will probably update again with pictures and final thoughts, but for now I have to get ready for Vanessa and David’s wedding!

Well, the weather is much much nicer in Spain than it was in Ireland! Madrid was a great city, but we didn´t have the greatest experience. Our hostel was not condusive to making friends, even though it was right in the heart of Madird´s gay friendly district. We did go on a lovely walking tour of the city, however with all the construction, it wasn´t very senic. Leaving Maird was a pain! Total hours spent waiting in the train station = 4 hours, total hours on the train = 3 hours. …and we thought it was going to be a 2 hour adventure.
Arriving in Barcelona we had accidentally booked our hostel on the wrong date, but being a girl has its advantages. This guy totally gave up his room for me! Overall this hostel is amazing! We´ve met some great people and taught a German how to play kings! We have been doing tourist things and today we went to the beach.
Now I should probably go shower, because I am a smelly kid. Tomorrow we have an overnight ferry to Rome and this will be the tail end of our journey :(
So Ireland is simply beautiful. We came at peak season and the foliage is outstanding.
We stayed in Dublin for two nights in teh Temple Bar area, which is the cultural center of town. There are people everywhere (mostly tourists) and bars and restaruants and shops. We had dinner at this restaruant and they totally did the “Europeans sit with random people” thing, and we ended up sitting next to an older couple from Ohio. Crazy.
I had my first Guiness, sorry Dad, I didn’t care for it much. Tastes like coffee + beer, eh.
We went on a walking tour of Dublin and learned a lot about Ireland’s history, also I married a viking.
We then went to Cavin to stay with Mr. & Mrs. Dolan who were incredible hosts. Their house has the best scenery! We got a tour around Cavin and Leah got to learn about her family, which was great!
Now we are down in Galway staying with Eimer, who showed us a wonderful night out last night. Today we are going to explore the coast and then got to the art festival later tonight!
Liverpool is simply amazing. Total Beatles overdose. I have decided it is much better to have the Beatles stuck in your head instead of Michael Jackson. (too soon…?) Anyways, we did the total Beatles tour/museum today, I can totally understand ‘Penny Lane’ and ‘Strawberry Fields’ now. We made some hostel friends and went out to The Cavern pub, real fun times. We are about to bid the UK farewell and head off to Ireland. Cheers!
only three minutes left on this computer…
LONDON IS AMAZING! Seriously. I want to move here.
We probably chose the best weekend to be here: Random music festival featuring Vampire Weekend and Gay Pride festival. People everywhere.
We went to Tate Modern, simply amazing. (I KNOW I ONLY HAVE 2 MINUTES LEFT SILLY COMPUTER)
We saw Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, so legit!
Today we are doing more sightseeing and such!
Cheers!
Germany: food, beer, language confusion with family, desert, late nights, dance parties, more food, sightseeing.
Amsterdam: confusion, met cool roomates, delicious treats, wandering around the city, found our friend, Heiniken Museum, Anne Frank Museum, walking, nice people, slumber party in the living room, breakfast with a balcony.
Luxembourg: laundry, organize, revamp for part two of the trip! adios saras, we look forward to seeing you at the end of July! Good luck on your duet, and remember to PINCH the eye hole clasps together :)
